Fair Fun!

When mommy told me it was time to go to the fair again, I had trouble sleeping for a week, I was so excited. I remember going to the fair with Claudia last year and it was so much fun! I couldn’t wait to ride the “Buggy Bee” again. Unfortunately, the “Buggy Bee” ride, as I called it, wasn’t there this year, but there was still plenty for me to get excited about! Bumper boats, flying dragons, hot air balloons, driving a car and riding in a train, oh my! We also got to see so many farm animals – rabbits, chickens, cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep – you name it! It all went by too fast but we had such a great time with Claudia and Jenn. I’m so lucky to have special friends to go to the fair with each year. I can’t wait to go again next year – I’ll be able to show my brother Evan how much fun the fair is then!

I had my three year portraits done! We also did some baby pictures with mommy’s belly, but you can see those on Evan’s blog. As usual, we went to see Kathy. She is so special and always makes me smile so pretty! Here I am at almost three years old.

3rd Birthday Celebration

For my birthday celebration, I got a chocolate ice cream cake, just as I requested! Mommy has a zoo theme for my birthday, I picked that out too! She even put zoo animals on my birthday cake. The cake was so, so yummy! I got to open up all my presents too. I really liked that part! It had so much fun that I can’t wait to turn 4! I’m sure mommy is in no rush though.

The Princess (that's me!) Turns 3!

Mommy dressed me up all cute for my 3rd birthday celebration. Since this is the last time I will see my family before my baby brother Evan arrives, we decided to have a party for me! Don't you think I'm cute?

Our Summer Vacation to Alpena!

During the week of the 4th of July, we went to Alpena for a little mini-vacation. I had so much fun and was really sad when I had to leave. The best part was all the fun things I got to do while I was there. Travel to Mackinac Island, celebrate my birthday, ride boats, fish with Grandpa, spend time with Gammy and Gampy, and just relax and have fun! Of course, I didn’t do too much relaxing. Everyone was spoiling me with sugar so I was full of energy to do anything! Here are some of the things I did while I was on my summer vacation in Alpena.

Traveling to Mackinaw was such a blast! First, we rode up to the big bridge. My eyes got big when I saw how big it was! I played by the water a little as we had a picnic lunch. After our lunch, we took a big boat called a ferry over to the island. The island had lots of horses and we got to take a carriage ride around the whole island – I loved that! I can’t forget to mention we also had fudge and ice cream! We had a great time – Thank you Grandpa for coming with us!
