First Haircut

Yep, I've had my first haircut. I was super excited! Mommy started crying and made me nervous but she explained she was crying because this was a first for me and I've had my 'long' hairs a long time. My curls started to get very dry so Mommy said it would help my curls be healthy.

Ready for Santa

I am so excited for Santa! I wanted to make him special cookies and set them on my special plate. I asked Santa for tools and a workshop - I think I was a good girl this year! We did an Advent calendar and have been counting down the days until the celebration of baby Jesus' birth. What a great day in many ways! We also hung some Christmas lights on the deck so Santa could see our house. I told Mommy he will land on the roof and come through the patio. A chimney is too hot!!! (and we don't have one) More pictures will be soon to come!









Don't worry - we've had snow since and we will be having a white Christmas!

Dance class

Here I am at dance class. I have really liked it! Mommy and Daddy signed me up for next year - I can't wait!

Winter 2007 Photos!

Wow! What a day! My baby brother and I had our pictures taken today by the wonderful Kathi! I have to admit, we were just a *tad* bit cranky today! ;) Once we got to the studio, I was so happy to see Kathi though. She was able to make me smile! She even made my baby brother smile even though he had been pretty cranky today!

Making memories or Mommy's craving?

Hmmm, is Mommy really into baking or what? Maybe she is just having some awful cookie cravings this time of year. But yet again, we made some MORE cookies! This time we tried our hand at Gingerbread Men. I have to admit, it is really fun! And I'm a great helper! Luckily, I saved some mini-m&ms for the buttons - those are so good - I kept sneaking some in my mouth but the colored dye on my lips gave me away!

Being thankful too!

As I get older, I am more understanding that Christmas isn't just about gifts. However, I can't help but get excited when is see a present for ME! That is my age and stage. ;) Mommy tells me how thankful I should be for everything I have. Look at my face as I opened some early Christmas gifts from one of my moms friends (Jennifer). I think I look pretty thankful! I was so excited to get them and my baby brother go a very special ornament too!

P.S. can you tell by my red cheeks that it is cold here in Michigan! I had just been outdoors helping Daddy rake up the last of our leaves before our snow storm came!

Bring a Friend Day!

This past week it was Bring a Friend Day at my dance class! I was so excited to invite Claudia! She did such a great job and I kept trying to "help" her along the way. She is a great dancer too! Aren't we looking cute?

Cookies!

Mommy and I enjoy making cookies so very much! It tends to be a problem though, me cooped up inside with all the sugar running through my veins, what can I say - Mommy asked for it! :) We made some very yummy sugar cookies and glaze the other day. We even took some to Daddy's friends at work. They enjoyed them very much - so much that they ate them ALL! Now we'll just have to make more.



I made a creative shape of dough before we cooked it, and Mommy made it into a dinosaur for me!

Let's decorate!!! The day after Thanksgiving - we did a little shopping - crazy Mommy! But then we came home and decorated!!! Mommy stayed home with Evan while Daddy and I went to cut down our Christmas tree. I helped him pick it out and saw it down! After we came home, I had so much fun helping Mom decorate. Here are some shots of us setting the Christmas spirit! I'm so excited!

We had a great Thanksgiving!

First, we had new table to enjoy our meal at!



Mommy made turkey, homemade stuffing, sweet potato casserole, potatoes, corn, and homemade apple crisp - we got to top it with brown sugar vanilla ice cream - YUM!

We enjoyed some sister - brother time early in the morning. The house smelled so good!
