Family Time

Daddy has been working so hard. He is such a great Daddy and works hard for me. I'm so lucky to have him! Mommy has been busy with working too so we all knew it was time for some FAMILY TIME! We made a little mini-vacation to a hotel. The hotel we stayed at had an indoor water park! IT WAS SO AWESOME! I swam like a fish and literally stayed at the pool for hours at a time. The best part was that the kiddie area was just my size. I could do everything myself without it being too deep and scary for me. It had shooting water spouts, slides, and dumping buckets. It was so fun! I also practiced swimming in the 'big' pool with Mommy and Daddy, but I'm not too sure about how to get my arms and feet to work together at the same time yet.

We are also finally getting warm weather! I love it (but I think Mommy does more!). We made our first trip to the local park the other day and while we were on our family vacation, we went to the zoo! I can't wait for Spring. The fresh air and the sunshine feel so good!

I'm growing - 30 months old!

I hit the big 3-0! Can you believe it!? I'm 30 months old now! At a recent doctor appointment, I weighed 28 lbs and measured 34 inches tall! I'm doing so many news things. Mostly I like to talk and using new words. Talking is my favorite hobby right now. I do it from the moment I get up until the moment I go to bed. Speaking of bed, I don't like naps very much. I wish mommy would stop making me take those silly things. Maybe I can convince her I just don't need 'em! I'm also a big girl who is potty trained now! I wear a 'night-night' pull-up for naps and bedtime but I like to use the potty like a big girl. Being a big girl means COOL undies! I even have Happy Feet undies! I know all my colors but brown, black, and purple. When I see black, I just say "Jessi" because that is the color of Jessi. I keep forgetting to call it black! I can count to 13 and babble a whole lot of numbers until I get to 20 but I've never made it there in order yet. I know my ABCs and I love singing! I sing and sing and sing all day! I really love Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star! Gotta love the classics! Here are some pictures of me as a 30 month old!

Claudia is going to be a BIG SISTER too!

Claudia came over to play with me the other day. As always, we had a blast. We're so cute and do a lot of talking back and forth. We always make sure to repeat ourselves over and over....and over....again just to make sure we hear each other! :) Claudia had some big news, she is going to be a big sister too! Her new baby is due at the end of October - YAY, we get to be big sisters together! Mommy's friend from Alpena, Candie, is pregnant and due at the same time too! Her little guy Logan is going to be a big brother! We're going to have lots of special babies around next fall! Congrats everyone! Mommy, Daddy, and I are so happy for you!

Thanks Gammy and Gampy! A surprise package came in the mail for me and it had presents! I was so excited, I screamed, PRESENT MAMA PRESENTS! Nothing like Christmas in March! Here are some pictures of me opening up some of my fun gifts. My favorite present was the mixer that I can use in my pretend kitchen to bake. It really spins and sounds like a mixer too!
