Did I ever mention I love birthday parties?! Especially when it is one of my best buddies having a birthday party! Olivia turned 4 - my mommy says we're all growing too fast - whatever that means. Anyway, we had lots of fun, eating, eating, and eating and of course playing, playing, and playing - we even played a few games! :) Including me playing duck-duck-goose for the first time - I really didn't get the concept so well...maybe next time? :) Happy Birthday Olivia - thanks for being my special friend!
I helped scoop out all the goo out of the pumkins! After that, I told what shapes I wanted mommy to make on the pumkin faces. I told her I wanted mine sCaRy! We toasted the seeds in the over the next day, I helped with that too - they were yummy!
Earlier this week (mid-October), I wrote my name all by myself for the first time. Mommy had no idea but when she went to look at my papers later, there she saw it - M - E - G - A - N! Mommy has been helping me write my name and I usually ask for her help too. But this time, I did it all by myself. Mommy was so surprised and proud of me. I've been busy doing lots of art projects. My drawings have become more life-like and I love to tell detailed stories about the pictures I've drawn. Here is some of my recent artwork:
These are pictures of Mommy, Evan, and I when Evan was about 1 month old. Evan liked to lay on the grass and look up at the sky. Mommy tried to take some pictures, but I got a little silly.
We took our annual trip to the Post Family Farm. I love going to the pumpkin patch each year! It is sad we only get to do it once a year. While I was there I got to see farm animals, play on their uber-fun playground and equipment (zipline), be pulled by a tractor, eat pumpkin donuts, and take a hayride to pick pumpkins right out of the patch! Here are some pictures of our fun day:
